Life hacks

If you are anything like me, you probably had a few moments in your life in which you thought “wouldn’t it be nice if someone just told me what the *bleepy dee bleep* i need to do to get my life in order”. and i’m not talking about your parents regular theme from your teens “go to school, stay off drugs and be an honest hard working person”. No. Imean the sort of telling that actually gets you places…. after finishing college and trying to decide what it is that you want to do “when you grow up”, what kind of an “adult job” you need to be looking for,how to manage your finances, how to meet the right person for you Etc… oh, and if that someone can please tel you WHEN all this is supposed to happen, that’ll be great, thank you.
of course, half the fun in growing up to be an adult is figuring these things by yourself, but lets face is, we all need help some times.

Mojo-yea baby!

being a bit of geek (okay, a lot of a geek) i really like gadgets, especially if they make my life easier. and it appears that my DOK has a new best friend. MojoPac is a new, cool environment for you Disk on key:
“MojoPac is a technology that transforms your iPod or USB Hard Drive or Flash drive into a portable and private PC. install MojoPac on any USB 2.0 compliant storage device, upload your applications and files, modify your user settings and environment preferences, and take it with you everywhere.
Every time you plug your MojoPac-enabled device into any windows xp pc , MojoPac automatically launches your environment on the host PC. Your communications, music, games, applications, and files are all local and accessible. And when you unplug the MojoPac device, no trace is left behind – your information is not cached on the host PC.”
that was the official explanation on what is MojoPac. my two cents about it: it’s easy to use, its keeps your private affairs private and its just a good idea all around.
Smallville,antibiotics and hot tea
feeling much better now after some miserable days with sinusitis. lots of antibiotics and scolding teas.and lots of TV. and here’s the gist:
How i met your mother: although difficult at first, i now cannot recognize Dr Howser in Barny.EX..wait for it…..Cellent
Heroes: yup, fake Irish accents are annoying( note to dialect coach).but Hiro Nakamora is a sweetheart.
Nap is great. waking up from a nap totally disoriented is not so great.BUT at least all i had to do is crawl out of bed and watch:
Smallville: can someone.please kill off that annoying character “Lana”.if Clark had any sense he would realize he likes Chloe or at least get it on already with Lois.
dismal thoughts: what does it say about me,at 29,that i still watch “Smallville”?
First day on the blogging job
Well, here i am, joining the blogging masses. and as they say there is nothing more terrifying then the white blank page (who ever said that obviously never encountering a spider on the bathroom floor at 3 am),but I’ll give it a go,wish me luck!
I’m of the 20 something generation. OK. so I’m actually 29, and thats something i guess, because it sounds like such a huge number for someone who still feels very much like a kid. I still like teen movies like “Farris Bueller”, anything John Hughes made and horror films from the 80’s and and although i can be grown-upy when i need (at work for example) for the most part it feels a bit like faking.
OK. that’s enough soul baring for this post. I’ll sign in again later.
